Integra LCA UK - Current Activity

Current activities for clients:

We are assisting a major client to put in place an in-house behaviour based safety process. This is to include training for lead trainers in observation and feedback as well as training and support to pilot site steering groups. There will be a company-wide compliance database which can be use to promote and measure improvement in selected focus behaviours at company, site or area level.

Integra is developing computer based training (CBT) packages across a range of safety leadership / systems areas. Ranging from basic safety leadership through incident investigations and on to more advanced topics such as change management, the in-house packages represent an excellent tool that forms part of an ‘expert system’, ensuring knowledge and systems are not lost when people move jobs.

We are working with a drinks manufacturer and distributor on ‘Dynamic Risk Assessment’. This skill is to be part of the competence of delivery drivers who have to face various and changing risks as an everyday part of their job. Dynamic Risk Assessment helps these employees to take sound decisions on how to reduce the chance of serious harm.

We are working with a league football club on risk assessing its operation. Whilst crowd management has received major focus over the years, league clubs employ considerable numbers of staff and there are many risks that need to be managed.

Integra is currently working through John Ormond Management Consultants Ltd to deliver ‘Culture Based Safety’ to British Gypsum Technical Services and Northern Distilleries.

Following on from the development of the innovative and concise risk assessment format called SARAS, Integra is helping the world’s largest snack factory to develop its risk management and reduction plans.

Integra is about to start on two separate contracts to act in a coaching role to companies and their safety officers. Newly appointed and trained officers can be in need of guidance on practical aspects of implementing safety strategy and systems and we have years of experience to pass on.
